Grapefruit Rosemary Spritzer

We've created the perfect summertime refreshing drink with our raw local honey, fresh grapefruit and fresh herbs.

You can make this mocktail (or cocktail) anytime of the year but since it's so refreshing, it's absolutely amazing in the summer months. Rosemary and grapefruit taste so good together and when you add in our raw honey you can really taste the floral quality and sweetness of the honey. You can make this ahead and keep in a pitcher as well!

I N G R E D I E N T S:

• 2/3 cup liquid honey

• 6 sprigs fresh rosemary

• crushed ice

• 2 grapefruits

• soda water

D I R E C T I O N S :

Combine the liquid honey and rosemary in a small pot and gently heat over medium-low until honey starts to bubble. After 5 minutes remove from the heat and leave to cool for about 5-10 minutes. Meanwhile, fill glasses half full with crushed ice and using a strainer, juice your grapefruit (by squeezing or using a reamer) and set aside juice. Remove sprigs of Rosemary from honey once cooled and add honey to the grapefruit juice and using a shaker (or jar with tight-fitting lid), shake vigorously until combined. Divide the mixture filling each glass halfway, top off with soda water and garnish with a sprig of rosemary, or other fresh herbs and grapefruit wedges.

*To make this a specialty cocktail, add 1 ounce vodka or gin
